Jeep Super Bowl Commercial Warms Hearts For Sure

What is the Ad in this 2013 Super Bowl that has touched you most as a woman and/or as a mother?

For me, none of the Super Bowl commercials can beat Chrysler’s ad for their Jeep car.

Little do we know that Jeep car started its association with a civilian vehicle only after the World War II. Before that, it was the best reliable war horse made out of steel – the General Purpose Vehicle. These cars were relied upon by thousands of our troops.

When a person is at war, when their whole existence is dedicated and focused to the only mission they’re serving there to protect the ones left behind, at Home, – the Coming Home to someone who is waiting for you, praying and worrying for you, loving you so much is the only thing that keeps them sane and humane and focused on the war mission.

For those who are in the war zone, it is a huge fear to hurt those left at home that they may not return.

For those who are patiently waiting at home, it is a great challenge to continue with their lives as usual, yet without that missing link who’s shipped to a war zone.

And for both sides – those at war and those left behind – there is the only way to survive and do the best job where they are, if there’s that assurance that a HOME is the only place that remembers them, wants them back, and shall welcome them back with all the scars, and wounds, and fractures.

At the end, it is Coming Back Home that wins the battles at war.

This ad touched me deeply as a woman, as a mother, as a wife to a person who gave his country the best of health and service in one of the wars fought for all of our freedoms, for us. If there’s nobody waiting for you at HOME, there’s no protective shield that allows you to wake up and do what the war has called you to do.

But because there’s no such place like HOME, we continue to love and welcome back those who feel our love a zillion miles away, and who continue to wrap their hearts and minds with the thoughts and feelings of their sweet HOME.

Chrysler Team, you’ve done a superb job of showing us all what is the most important ingredient in any war – The Conviction that There’s Nothing In This World Like Coming Back Home.
