don’t try to cram in too much at one time…Tiredness leads to crabbiness, and less concentration on the road.
Do an inspection on your vehicle! Check your engine, engine, hoses, fluids, lights, wipers, etc.
Make sure there is plenty of shade or cool places to go to when outside, along with lots of water!
keep the ac on if you have it and if not lots of stops and water to drink!
Always make sure you have enough sunscreen and make sure to REAPPLY!
Dno’t use sunscreen with anything that ends in -zone or -zene, those are cancer causing ingredients, which seems silly since we use sunscreen to prevent cancer! Straight up zinc is good!
keep the car cool,,nothing worse than hot tired kids on a day travelling
Do not overdress when traveling. Car rides tend to be hot especially in a carseat
Never feed your baby while strapped in the car seat and the car still moving; it can get get very messy and you’ll need your seat belt on
make sure to always have sunscreen, drink lots of water, and keep healthy snacks like fruits on you!
make sure car seats are installed properly.
drink lots of water
My tip is to make sure your child is PROPERLY secured in their car seat before taking off every time you stop!
Our tip is to wear and reapply sunscreen
