When it comes to the HOW-TO save on kitchen appliances remodeling, there are a few things that truly could contribute to your budget savings and peace of mind. These tips will also ensure you don’t damage the existing harmony in your kitchen by disturbing a perfectly installed fridge or dishwasher or oven.
These THREE HOW-TO’s are keepers! Make a mental note of them and get started on planning for our renovation in the kitchen!
HOW-TO #1 – Keep Appliances Where They Are
Moving the appliances is costly and can bring in more headaches than improvement. Keep in mind that mechanics and electrics for appliances may be hiding inside the wall and the ceiling above. So, those place in the kitchen will call for exposure in order to do all the moving around. The best option is to keep them where they are.
If you need new appliances, just make the measurements of the existing ones and head over to the store to look for the right options for you.

HOW-TO #2 – Invest In Best Current Technology
If you are on the market to change or upgrade your kitchen appliances, research the current technological improvements in appliances and compare them. Do you want or need these changes? If yes, then invest into them. Appliances are the most expensive single item when it comes to kitchen renovations. Plan your renovation project closer to store sales! You can save a lot on such projects.

HOW-TO #3 – Do Your Remodeling In Stages
If you know that your budget or time is tight – give yourself a breather and don’t take away from the quality of your life. Approach your project in stages. Be it appliances or lights in the kitchen or door that needs glass vs. wood – take one small step and stick with your plan. This way, you will be looking forward with joy to your next remodeling step, rather than dragging yourself along each and every step.

I agree with all your tips! If you’re on a strict budget or have limited time, take a break and don’t sacrifice your well-being. Take your project step-by-step. Take a modest step and stick to your goal, whether it’s buying new appliances, replacing the kitchen lighting, or installing a glass door instead of a wood one. Instead of dreading the next stage in your renovation project, you’ll look forward to it with excitement.
I agree with your 3rd tip that it’s possible & often smarter to do remodeling projects in stages to fit your budget.
Here’s why I can’t agree with your first 2 tips:
#1 – BestBuy has no appliance experience, as your refrigerator is nothing like a television & it’s scary that Samsung & LG have jumped into the appliance business. They’ve struggled to train repair techs or even set up parts supply distribution to make repairs possible … so I always recommend buying appliances at an appliance store with 10/more years experience & they should also provide repair services!
#2 – Wrote my first program in 1970, developed software at IBM for 29 years … and I know from first-hand experience that you never want to be the guinea pig testing new products unless you’re being paid to do this. If you understand why printers are so cheap because they make their money on the ink cartridges, then hopefully you’ll also understand that today’s techie appliances are really just money makers because yesterday’s $10 repair part is now software on the board that will cost you $400 to $600 to replace. It’s not right but it’s real because consumers only think about purchase price, not total cost of ownership … one of my hot buttons.
