Why you want to bake this mixed berry tart? The answer is as easy as this recipe itself. A lightly sweetened mini berry tart can be customized to my occasions, availability of ingredients and served on short notice.
The dough is from a frozen pie crust that can be found in the freezer section of your grocery store. Fresh or frozen berries are the way to go to create your own elegant looking and tasting mini berry tart. There’s no wrong way of making this recipe! Anything goes. My favorite berries for a filling are raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. I use berries as a mixed ensemble or exclusively in a filling.
A Fabulous Lightly Sweetened Dessert In Quick Easy Steps
When I have my kids’ friends over or my own friends unexpectedly stop by, I like to shower them with a warm welcome and make them feel at home. My friends know me that I love herbal tea. Some of my favorite recipes compliment the teas I serve to my guests. This mini mixed berry tart recipe is one of my favorites in my go-to collection of recipes that works every single time.

I make it with fresh and/or frozen berries – whatever I find in my freezer. I could easily add a light crème fraiche with a hint of lemon and top with fresh berries. Or I just whip up a home-made whipped cream topping to put on top of each mini berry tart. The taste is a mixture of a lightly sweetened whipped cream and natural sour flavor coming from berries.
This combination of flavors is bombastic!
Prepare the Frozen Pie Crust Dough for A Mini Berry Tart
Spread out a thawed per instruction pie crust and use a glass to cut out the round shapes for the mini tarts in your baking form.
Coat the bake form with olive oil and place each dough round into the baking cavity.
Prepare A Filling Mixture for Your Mini Mixed Berry Tart
For a tray of 12 mini berry tarts, I use about 2 cups of frozen berries and add a couple of fresh blackberries to the tray. Adding about 2 teaspoons of sugar will sweeten the berry mixture, but won’t be too sweet.

Add Whipped Cream And Serve This TART Recipe
to Please Your Guests
I prefer home-made whipped cream to the one sold in stores. I use a very easy recipe for it: a cup of heavy cream with a couple of teaspoons of confectioner’s sugar. I place these two ingredients into a Pampered Chef Whipped Cream Maker and whip a delicious dessert within 30 seconds. That’s it!
