Those who have several kids could probably associate with the title of this post.
When a child is off to college, we want her to really be prepared to all the Independent things she’s going to encounter there. Yes, we load up the car and take a trip or two to college dorm. Yes, we send money and help them out when and if we can.
But the biggest favor we can do our children is to raise them with the habits and skills that would serve them well in college and in life at large.
Look at this Infographic. There are some brutal truths staring in our faces. It does show that some students are really well prepared for a new life and new routine outside their home. But some will suffer tremendously due to their inability to take even the minimal care of their personal needs. Study it for a minute and two. Have a laugh where you can. But on a serious note, families need to take it seriously to prepare their kids for life, college included.

It’s convenient especially for those who know right off what they need to fill their pantry with. And for those who don’t have a lot of time to spend shopping.
MyGofer makes it very easy to pick the items from your favorite store online and get it ready for you – packed and sacked! – when you stop by to pick up your load of groceries.
And when you cannot go to the store to pick up your bags with goodies – MyGofer will deliver them to you! Day or night, weekend or not. They even deliver it to college campuses, too! You could surprise your college student by sending her a load of healthy foods. Just as a gesture that you love and care, with a gentle reminder of a healthy diet.
