Great gift ideas. I am always stumped on teenagers. On Holiday tradition we have is going to a midnight mass and then having a supper afterwards usually a soup or something light.
Today we baked cookies all day and sat around and decorated them. Then we walked through the neighborhood and gave out plates of cookies to all of our neighbors. It is a tradition that we love, and so do the neighbors 🙂

We don’t listen to much Christmas music. We do have some lights up and a tree. We usually prepare a good meal with ham, turkey and the fixings. I’m going to fix something different this year. I found a recipe for Brownie Triffle’s and it’s going to be easy to make, but I hope it’s also going to be really good! Pretty much everyone loves chocolate and it’s full of that. I bet there won’t be any leftover so I may have to make another one soon after the holidays. I’d love to receive ANORA skin care products. I’m sure they’d make me feel better about my appearance. My skin needs help!

I used to have holiday traditions. But since my folks passed away and my children have grown I don’t have any anymore. I think there are some people who get caught up in the receiving end and forget about the reason for Christmas. The small things mean a lot sometimes. Holidays are for more time spent together: cooking, watching favorite movies, baking cookies and family recipes, and just having an opportunity to reconnect during the holiday season.
It is a powerful time for doing just that.
I do not shop a lot during holidays. Rather, I do tea parties, coffee breaks, visit pet shelters, donate to my local women’s shelters and thanking for being able to live another day.
