The best surprised I ever received was my 3rd son. We had completed all the pre-adoption paperwork and the next day I got a call saying their was a baby that needed to be picked up at the hospital today by 4:00 pm. Of course I was there right away-well after I went and bought diapers, formula and a bassinet but I never dreamed it would be immediately I always heard it could be a few years. He was the best surprise ever!

My son is turning 5 next week. He’s my only child. Last year was his first year in preschool and for mothers day he decorated a tote bag that said “i love mommy” i have it hanging up on my room. That was completely unexpected! Also, on Tuesday he made me a card at school that said “mommy I’m sorry” which he brought home and gave to me, that morning was a rough one getting him up and off to school and I guess he felt bad about his behavior and made me the card in school. Made me cry 🙂 he’s such a sweet boy. Anything from him is just awesome
