Feeding baby with mashed veggies is always messy. Baby loving it though. And I had fun taking pics 🙂
Mashed potatoes can travel a surprising distance. 🙂
I remember my son’s first Thanksgiving eating real food. I thought he liked cranberry sauce so we gave him some. Mistake! He got it all over his adorable thanksgiving outfit, and all over the white rug!
I turned my back (mistake) so my toddler painted herself, and her infant, little sister, with the lipstick, she ‘found’ in my purse…
My one and half year old recently got into his brothers bowl of chocolate pudding! It was a big mess. It was in his hair, his diaper, all over the floor, and cabinets in the kitchen. I took a photo of course before I cleaned him and the mess up!
My 3rd son’s 1st birthday cake had bright blue trim on it. I couldn’t believe the mess it made all over everything!
One trip to the pumpkin farm with all our nieces and nephews, my niece (who was 15 months old at the time) had a diaper blow-out and had to go around the rest of the farm in her (fresh) diaper!
My daughter enjoyed painting when she was a toddler! I left her once at the table for just a few seconds and when I came back she had painted the bottoms of her feet! They did that a lot in daycare so I guess she thought it was normal!
My favorite was the first time I let my son feed himself spaghetti. It was all over the place. I snapped a picture of his messy face. It’s hanging in the gallery. Haha
My boys’ 1st time eating spaghetti was so messy!
My favorite messy moment was when my daughter decided to try to paint her dads toenails while he was napping. By the time I realized there was nail polish everywhere.
My little cousin loves to eat mac and cheese with her hands!
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner was always a mess with my little one.
my son likes to rub his fingers through his hair while eating
I think it’s funny when they get into toilet paper
My older daughter tends to leave paint out so my toddler can then paint himself later
Eating chocolate always resulted in more on her hands and face than in her mouth. She was a slow eater and it would melt all over her. Lots of cute pictures of her chocolate messes.
My granddaughter smeared spaghetti in her hair, on her clothes then threw the remainder of the food on the floor (that is why there should not be carpet in a dining room).
Three words baby powder and Vaseline. I thought the cleanup would never end.
Just recently my a 1 1/2 year old grandson dumped a whole bowl of noodles on his head and it cascaded down him and the high chair to the floor. He loved it!
When my daughter was about 9 months, she found the baby powder. Oh my…it happened in just a few minutes, but she had dumped it out everywhere in the living room. There was a thick cloud of dust throughout the house. Thankfully I always used the cornstarch kind and not the talc. Even so, the mess was horrendous.
When my daughter was little, I found her making a painting on my white wall…with red lipstick. Lol
Don’t know if it’s my favorite, but it’s memorable (to me). Both twin grandsons had colds when they were one year old, and one sneezed a onto the table of his walker. It wasn’t just a sneeze, but contents of his runny nose came out. The worst part was when he started playing in it before I could get to him. Stuff was smeared everywhere!
One of the messiest moments was when my son got sick and threw up everywhere. Not a good mess to deal with. I would rather have food mess.
My messiest moments although not my favorite is when my son would have an accident and would end up with poo all the way up his back and down his pant legs. Of course, this always happened at the worst time. My favorite memory was his first birthday and he had his smash cake all over himself and his outfit.
The first thing that comes to mind is birthdays….cake all over the face and super happy babies!
anytime they eat is messytime
feeding time was always crazy for me
My messiest baby moments are trying to teach my 15 month old how to use silverware.
My son used to get into my flour and make snow storms with his trains… adorable and annoying all at once haha
The best and messiest is when you let baby body paint! to many thins is finger painting, but when we do it we get in our swimmers and use hands, arms, legs, feet, even belly to paint!
feeding time was always messy good fun
We tried to do finger painting on the kitchen floor. That was not a very good idea.
Oh boy! I married into an Italian family, so when we would make homemade spaghetti, the kids would wear more of it then eat it! It was hilarious! We had to take them straight from the high chair to the bath tub! haha
She got into the box of cheerios and dumped them all over the floor, while I was cleaning them she got into the dog food bowl and dumped it
my daughters messiest moments are when she paints. My son has yet to make very big messes yet hes only 6 months.
A messy time was thinking how much fun it would be to let my niece ‘help” decorate sugar cookies. That icing with food coloring was everywhere, she liked wiping her hands on her clothes. I really couldn’t get it out, I wish I had Dreft then!
Some of my messiest baby moments are the times when my toddler got a little too quiet and found him wrist deep in the icing or making flour angels in the kitchen.
