To celebrate life in a very intimate and broad way, we gotta love our pets! Dogs, cats – doesn’t matter. Pets bring us together and allow deep healing on the sole level, too. DOG DAYS movie is an absolute gem that incorporates hilarious moments and heartwarming situations that require human strength and understanding.

I had a unique experience to preview the movie and be on the RED CARPET with the cast, directors, writers and producers. The celebratory party marked an important occasion of protecting our pets and promote pet adoption among all who appreciate animals and respects their rights.
Along pet adoption, run a parallel of adoption in our human world as well. There are emotional ups and downs within the adoptive family beautifully played by Eva Longoria (Grace) and Rob Corddry (Kurt). Their adopted daughter Amelia needs time and little bit of help from our furry friends to truly open up and start trusting her new parents.
Directed by Ken Marion (How to Be a Latin Lover), DOG DAYS movie brought together the best in the acting talent. What you would appreciate in every moment of the movie is a brilliant script created by Elissa Matsueda and Erica Oyama.

For those of you who are huge music buffs, you would want to get your hands on the sound track. At least I DO WANT IT TODAY! Music was written by a talented Craig Wedren and Matt Novack and will have you humming the tunes way longer after the movie is over.
Thanks to Susie Ferris, we are looking at this brilliant cast of actors and actresses.

Meanwhile, across town, Grace (Eva Longoria) and Kurt Chapman (Rob Corddry) are nervous about making a good impression on their adopted daughter Amelia (Elizabeth Caro), and Elizabeth (Nina Dobrev), host of the local morning show “Wake Up LA,” breaks up with her adulterous boyfriend and soon begins dating her new co-anchor Jimmy Johnston (Tone Bell).

Vanessa Hudgens Is So Sweet In DOG DAYS Movie by Ken Marino!
This movie is a gentle reminder for everyone of us to be kind to ourselves and to our pets, too! Pets, actually, help us to become better humans and bring community together in times of worry and distress.

Making Dog Date Scene Hilarious
Elissa Matsueda and Erica Oyama’s script toggles between dating life and pet-owning life, balancing household issues with a sweet, generous spirit towards everyone: the old, the young, and those who measure their lives in dog years.
Dog Days movie premiere was one of my most memorable experiences. The Celebrities, their families and friends – all came over to the premiere to celebrate people and their love for life, for genuine connection and, of course, our beloved pets. This movie focuses on dogs, but the message is clearly about saving animals by adopting from shelters.
