I know a person who picks her new set of sheets for every holiday or even occasion. She really does dive into the mood of any holiday be it Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter or Mother’s Day. For some people it may be too extreme, that is purchasing a set of bed sheets to fit a festivity. But what I learned from my dear friend Martha (Not Stuart, but she could easily be!) about decorating and making your sleep more comfortable would be very appropriate to share with you.
Here are a few better sleep tips that could be an eye-opener for many of us. These are simple, yet powerful ways to make your home more beautiful, your sleep more comfortable, your health more zestful without any compromises.
Choose Your Bed Sheets To Suit The Season
Eating In-Season is a very powerful thing. Sleeping with the right type of sheets is a very healthy thing to do as well.
If you live in the climate with four distinctive seasons, make sure your body is not overheated at any season! To get into your deep sleep, you gotta have a perfect temperature under your sheets.
For winter and cool times of the year, use some flannel and thick-knitted bed sheets to make your body comfortable the moment you slip into your sheets at night.
For summer and warm weather, choose the bedding that would provide coolness and breathability to your body while you are asleep.
Create Ambiance For Your Bedroom
To create a special atmosphere in your bedroom can be achieved fairly easily. Adding colorful sheets to your bed and aromatic lavender bags would make this place where you spend 1/3 of your life more attractive and welcoming.
Try a different color you’ve never used in your bedding and see how different you feel.
Alternate colorful sheets each week or especially at those times when you need more relaxation and peace. Doing all that would result in a better, tighter sleep. And sleep is a heeling stage within our life. So, make it as much comfortable and looking-forward-to as possible.
Change Your Pillow Cases!
You would be surprised that changing your pillow cases every other day could be a healing experience.
First, enjoying a freshly clean pillow case has a calming effect and prepares your body subconsciously to look forward to going to be.
Second, you could infuse your sleeping experience with color of a pillow case. It is very affordable to have a few changes for a pillow case rather than buying a whole sheets set.
Try this easy tip and see it, feel it for yourself! You can create your own mood with a change of a pillow case!
Now That is something to celebrate! Being able to count sheep from a comfort of your bed could be a healthy thing indeed.
