500 stunning women from over 50 countries looking at us with their joys, fears, sadness, concerns, depth. These are the women like you and me who go through the life with their burdens and celebrations. It is an axiom that a picture is worth a thousand words. When we connect in such a powerful way – a picture – we are exposed to the world that opens up in front of our eyes. We feel that person in front of us, and a story is immediately formed in us what this person may have encountered in her life’s journey.
Mihaela Noroc is an artist who sees that other person’s life in a convincing way. Bringing closer to us the joys and tribulations reflected in the expressive eyes and faces looking from the pages of the book, we are being transformed and mesmerized by the emotionality and empowerment this photographic narration has on us.

Born without her right leg, Ania, who was born in Poland, was abandoned by her biological mother. She was adopted by a Belgian family and had a bright childhood.
