The famous or infamous bachelor Chris Higgs has found his soulmate while dating online in front of the millions of fans. At the end, only one was chosen to be his partner in life – Lauren.
This year, the Batchelor fans won’t be left behind, rather they will be taken onboard of yet another exciting journey of the bachelor and his wife-to-be.
Are you ready to indulge into a new season’s premier of BEN & LAUREN: HAPPILY EVER AFTER?
BEN
The whole show has producers. That’s how a television show is made.
I think there’s a lot of footage [filmed]. There is a ton of footage. If you only knew how much they [TV crew] had. And it’s cut down. And so a lot of it is produced post show filming. So the [full] story is displayed, and the story is shared.
Our big life moments – that’s just us doing that. We forget about cameras 100 percent. We have no clue they’re there.
Having had a chance to sneak peak the preview of their next episode airing every Tuesday at 8/7 pm Central, I can tell you without releasing any spoilers, that you are up for a huge surprise! What made this Ben & Lauren event truly memorable was our meeting with the couple and asking them the burning questions that we had.
One of the prevalent questions, they admitted to be asked of, was “Is it all scripted or are you truly going through life’s challenges, preparations, decision-making as if it were off camera?”
LAUREN
His family’s in Indiana, mine’s in Portland. Um, so I think we’re going to do, we’re going to alternate Thanksgivings, so like, this year we’ll spend Thanksgiving with my family, and then next year with his.
To be on the reality show is not a small thing. It does take a lot of work, travel and press events. Here’s a sampling of their tours promoting their live show. Lauren took a lead going through all the shows they’ve been to before meeting us.
LAUREN
We just did Mario Lopez Today, and we did The Reel yesterday, Access Hollywood, all that good stuff. we did press last week, in New York, and then this week is LA.
BEN chimed in:
It’s one of the most tiring parts of this stuff is like, when it’s all done. ‘Cause we just ended filming, last week.
We were up in New York at like, five a.m., and you go to PR meetings usually around seven at night. It’s just all day, nonstop media outlets, press, interviews, question and answers. But it’s fun, too, because we get to meet a lot of cool people, and sit in front of all these people, and talk to them. It was great.
[huge_it_slider id=”31″]
Having an intense filming season and doing public appearance – all that is very tiring and stressful, no matter how pleasant emotions are. You are out there facing cameras, people, holding composure in front of TV and different audiences. No matter how much you like and enjoy doing it, it is very, very tiring. We asked Ben and Lauren if they planned any vacation after this intense tour and promotional season were over.
They even shared what they would do every year and how they’ll approach spending time with their families, who live in different states. If you are living in their shoes, i.e., with families spread out in this country, you do know that it takes a good planning to please and visit everyone!
LAUREN
His [Ben’s] family’s in Indiana, mine’s in Portland. I think we’re going to alternate Thanksgivings. This year we’ll spend Thanksgiving with my family, and then next year with his.
Hopefully every Christmas, we’ll try to go great places. That is the one great thing about this whole show, it is allowed us to have a little bit more flexibility when we’re not filming, so we can take two weeks around the holidays, and go to each separate household. That’s kind of the plan, as of now.
One of the things that we learned about Lauren is that she LOVES playing pranks. She grew up in the family that encouraged good pranks. Lauren takes this tradition into her new life with Ben.

BEN on Lauren’s Prank-titude
She’ll sneak something in. She acts innocent, but she also likes to put me on the spot. I think this will be live television – some of our favorite things to do, because then we can say something, and make the other person react.
LAUREN
My fave go-to prank isn’t really a prank, but I like to scare him – hide behind the corner of the sofa. [LAUGHTER] And every time, he like, jumps.
BEN
IT’S THE WORST!
She is good. We’re in Indiana with my family, a couple months ago. I see her kind of like crawl across the living room floor, [LAUGHTER]. And I can just see her feet, like, scurrying behind her. She gets behind my parents’ liquor cabinet. And there’s a big window on the other side of the liquor cabinet, and I’m on the other side of the window, and she doesn’t think I can see her, but I can see her feet sticking out. [LAUGHTER] And so I just sit down – let’s see how long she can hide for. [LAUGHTER]
I think she was there like a good 10 minutes, of just laying on the ground, waiting for me to open the door.
LAUREN
But then he ended up scaring me, because he saw me, and he banged on the window! I was like — [LAUGHTER] I was caught in the act.
Watch the episodes with Ben and Lauren to truly discover their biggest joys, fears, and fun moments spent together. After having met these two amazing individuals, I really fell for their human ability to emotionally express themselves to each other and build life together.
