Beat The Bugs with BuggaLoop!

BuggaLoop is a board game that is fun, exciting and fast! This game is played with two to four players, ages six and up. Ravensburger Games has developed a game that makes you laugh, scream and BUG OUT!

BuggaLoop is played by trying to get your BUGS across the board without the termite-ish HexBug knocking you off your path. Each player has multiple bugs and has to BEAT THE BUG in order to beat their opponent.

The game board is decorated like a yard, with garbage cans, trash and obstacles. If your bug is fortunate enough to be out of your way when the Hex Bug comes into the yard, you’ll be safe. However, if he comes out of his loopy tunnels and gets you, you have to start over.

This game teaches strategy, communication, pace, action and luck. You will have to strategize in order to get across the yard. Communicate with your opponents, pace yourself and with the fast action, you’ll be entertained for hours.

My teenage daughter and her friend wanted to try Buggaloop out, next thing I heard was squealing and screaming coming from the other room. When I went to observe, I was tickled to see them competing with each other and laughing when one of them was attacked by the Hex Bug and knocked off their path.

The were so competitive with each other, they kept saying, “One more game!” This is a game that I can see us playing for years to come. My son was even in on the gameplay. He liked the Hex Bug and the way it defied gravity in the loops. The little vibrating HEX Bug makes it’s way across the board, goes underground (under the game board) and reappears in one of the loopy tunnels in order to make it’s way back into the “yard”.
