Yes, You Can Be Pretty & Smart And Be A Cheeleader

I just discovered a great organization of women who with their personal background in cheerleading break through stereotypes and inspire young girls to pursue their dreams and careers in the science, math, technology and engineering  fields.

All of the members of Science Cheerleaders organization are former cheerleaders from the professional teams in NBA, NFL and other sports. And All of them are professionals in one of the science-related career paths.

Inspiration in this story comes from the fact that these women with successful science-based careers encourage thousands of other girls and women to pursue their dreams. To know that there is no such thing that science is for “boys” or “smart people” or “those with privileged status” only. That a scientist or a dentist or a software engineer can be a woman. And she can be a cheerleader too.

Science Cheerleaders is a very much needed support to those girls who are making choices now not only what they are going to be in their professional lives. This powerful team of women makes a huge statement to all that a Cheerleader can be Beautiful, and Smart, and Self-Confident.

Their personal stories and cheerleading backgrounds make it a so real, so authentic representation of the true women they are and the some of the best in their careers they’ve become. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for changing one life at a time.
