Women are heroes. They have always been heroes.

My recipes are all on little pieces of paper and stuck in a cookie jar.
My recipes are half written in a recipe book and other half of paper slips/torn out recipes from magazines are placed in that recipe book. I do need to get organized!

I have a plastic recipe card holder for my index card recipes, and for my larger recipe cards, I have a plastic open case & they are organized by sweets, meats, breakfasts, etc.

Ummm I don’t lol they are everywhere! a file in my desk, on a 6ft bookcase (all cookbooks) notebooks here and there, post its, index cards. I REALLY need to get organized!

Just a plain alphabetized wooden recipe box that my grandmother gave me years ago. It was her mothers, lots of sentimental value.
I am embarrassed to say they are all stuck in a drawer right now.

My mother in law gave me a great big book of her recipes and it had blank pages that I add mine in. I also hand write them on index cards and save them in a cabinet, like my Grandma use to, in hope that they will be special to someone.

I just google what I want to cook. Now days, you can find everything you ever needed on the internet. I have one little binder with a few heirloom recipes that I have not found, yet, on internet. I use them to enter recipe contests. Soon, they will be all on the web, too.

My favorite recipes are in an index card box. The recipes I get out of magazines are stuffed into my few favorite cookbooks.

I organize my recipes on the computer.
I have my grandmother’s old notebooks with everything handwritten in it from her and her mother. I’ve added my own favorites but I still don’t know how to preserve it all for my daughter. I love seeing my grandmother’s handwriting in the notebooks but they won’t last forever like that.

Try to Photocopy it and preserve in the electronic format for your daughter to see what her grandma used to write in her recipe book!

I would hesitate to call my recipes organized. I have some in a recipe box, some in a notebook, some on the computer and some in a plastic box.
Allrecipes.com does the organizing for me
Let’s see..some are stuffed into this big plastic Recipe Box, some are in binders, some are in a folder, and some are shoved into other cookbooks. I definately need to take a day to try and get things straightened out. LOL

i keep my recipes in a recipe box, but my favorites are on a cork board mounted on the inside door of my pantry.

I currently use a small three subject notebook to organize recipes. There are pockets at each divider that I stuff printed recipes in, if they are really good I write them down in the book.
I have many folders with my favorite recipes in them, including my grandmothers recipes.

Organize? Hmmm…I think that might be a misnomer in my case! I have a pile of written/printed recipes on the under-cabinet book holder. It works for me!

I vary where I do shopping depending on where is the cheapest place. Unfortunately we don’t have a walmart for about an hour and a half, so its usually a lesser known store. Never forget the dollar store has awesome finds!

I do my school shopping where and when I can. I am an unschooling mom to two teens. This year we still need to do more shopping. I’ve managed to pick up the Spanish lessons and the French lessons so far. Teaching the kids two languages, possibly 3, if I can find more books on American Sign Language. This would be helpful.
